Director of Education
After 10 years at the Minnesota Racing Commission, Stephanie Jenson joined the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit as director of education in January 2023. She has established and executed an educational strategy regarding the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority’s (HISA) Anti-Doping and Medication Control (ADMC) Program to support engagement, understanding, and compliance among stakeholders in the Thoroughbred industry who are affected by the ADMC Program.
Jenson most recently served as the Minnesota Racing Commission’s safety coordinator after initially joining that organization as a compliance administrator. In addition to serving as HISA safety officer for the commission, she built and managed the commission’s website. She also ensured racing participants’ compliance with continuing education requirements and assisted in establishing a funding mechanism and grant process for racehorse aftercare organizations in the state.
Jenson received a Bachelor of Arts degree (Cum Laude) and Master of Science degree from St. Cloud State University. She is accredited by the Racing Officials Accreditation Program as a level three harness racing judge.
