Team member: Marcy Parker
Parker joined the team in November 2022 as the regional relations manager and was promoted to testing operations senior manager in 2023, where she oversaw track communication to support HIWU testing from start to finish and coordinated between HIWU staff, sample collection personnel, and laboratories. In this role, she also coordinated a 24-hour support line and oversaw data entry, invoicing, and specimen tracking.
In her current role, Parker assumes a pivotal leadership position tasked with providing strategic direction to ensure effective coordination among HIWU Operations, Science, and Legal teams, as well as partner laboratories. A primary focus of her role is the development and implementation of operational systems, including cutting-edge technology solutions and tools aimed at enhancing accuracy and efficiency in handling all HIWU-related results including issuing notices of negative findings to the industry in strict accordance with the Anti-Doping and Medication Control (ADMC) Program Rules.
Prior to HIWU, Parker was a program manager for Healthcare Services for Drug Free Sport International (DFSI) where she served as a liaison between COVID testing companies and collectors at sites across the country and spearheaded a joint venture with the Texas Education Agency to provided staffing for COVID testing across Texas’ K-12 schools. She provided 24/7 on-call support for collectors, client representatives, and site coordinators.
Parker has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Creighton University and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development from Avila University. She is a former collegiate and semi-professional soccer player.
